George Jedenoff, the world’s oldest skier, turned 105-years-old yesterday, and Alta Ski Area, UT, shared the below message.

Happy 105th birthday to our favorite centenarian. Thank you, George Jedenoff, for giving all of us so much hope and optimism—as the soundtrack of your life continues to make our world a better place. We miss having you on the slopes at Alta and wish you all the best at your home in California.

George’s words of wisdom:
◦ Age is just a number
◦ Always be kind to others
◦ Don’t let life’s problems overshadow the good in life
◦ And above all, never give up

While he wasn’t able to ski Alta this season, we were fortunate to get George on the phone today to wish him a happy 105th birthday from his Alta family.

George started skiing at the age of 43 in 1960 and has never looked back. What a guy. What an inspiration!
