The National Weather Service has issued Winter Storm Warnings, Winter Storm Watches, and Winter Weather Advisories for Wyoming. They are in effect from late this morning – early Sunday morning. Heavy snow is forecasted to impact the area, the heaviest of which is expected to occur tonight.

The heaviest snowfall is forecasted to occur above 8,000ft, but snow will fall at lower elevations as the storm comes to a close.

mountains this afternoon through Saturday night...

.A pacific storm is expected to develop over Wyoming with heavy
wet snow in the western and northern mountains from this
afternoon until Sunday morning. The heaviest snow is expected
mainly above 8500 feet and from this afternoon through tonight.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING
TO 5 AM MDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 7 to 14
  inches, with localized amounts up to 20 inches, are expected.
  The heaviest snow will fall above 8000 feet.

* WHERE...Bighorn Mountains West and Bighorn Mountains Southeast.

* WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 5 AM MDT Sunday. The heaviest
  snow is expected tonight.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on difficult travel conditions,
  including over Salt River Pass. Expect significant reductions
