The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch and Winter Weather Advisory for Colorado. They are in effect Wednesday Afternoon – Thursday Morning. Temperatures are expected to drop substantially, which will turn precipitation from rain to snow. If you’re looking for some may powder turns, you’re going to want to head to Colorado on Thursday.

Up To 20″ of Snow Wednesday – Thursday Morning.

There are currently 3 ski resorts open in Colorado including: Winter Park Resort, Loveland Resort, and Arapahoe Basin.

The Winter Storm Watch is in effect for areas above 9,000ft, but accumulating snowfall is forecasted to occur above 7,000ft.
