If you are a West Virginia resident you have the opportunity to ski free for a day at Snowshoe Mountain Resort this season. Every year Snowshoe does what’s called West Virginia Ski Free Day, offering West Virginia residents free lift tickets. This year’s event will be on Sunday, March 22nd, 2020.

To redeem your free tickets all you need to do is bring proof of your West Virginia residency (a state or government-issued photo ID) to the ticket counter and they’ll give you your free ticket which’ll be valid all day.

On top of that, Snowshoe season passes for the 2020-2021 season just went on sale and will be 50% off from March 5 to March 19, 2020. That brings down the price of a season pass to $279 from $559 during that two week period. Get ’em while they’re hot!
