Today, the lift line for the above-pictured gondola at Vail, CO (Gondola One) was extremely long.
Yesterday, a video went viral that depicted the long line at this same gondola at Vail – and today’s line appears to be over three times as long…
We posted yesterday’s long line video on our Facebook page yesterday and it reached over 1 million people in 1-day and saw over 6,000 comments.
See video below:
Vail just saw 24-inches of snow in the past 48-hours and many people came up from the Denver area via I-70 yesterday and today to experience the new snow.
Vail day tickets are currently priced at $209.
Vail is on the Epic Pass and the $939 Epic Pass allows unlimited access to 36 resorts in the USA, Canada and Australia, plus free days of skiing or riding in Japan, Chile, France, Italy, Switzerland and Austria as well as a few other perks like discounted day tickets for friends and family.
I-70 was reportedly a nightmare yesterday and today as closures & traffic plagued the interstate.
The storm and crowds hit Colorado hard yesterday.
Loveland was closed yesterday.
Eldora’s parking lots were completely full yesterday.
Today appears to be even crazier than yesterday.
Please be careful out there.

We apologize to those of you who were turned around today because our lots filled completely. We know it’s frustrating, and we do our best to let guests in as soon as we’re able. On these powder-frenzy days, the best bet is to arrive by 7 or after 1. Thank you for understanding.
