The heat of the day undeniably went to Heat 11 of Round 1 which saw Julian Wilson, Miguel Pupo and John John Florence taking turns wowing the crowd. Eventual heat winner, Julian Wilson advanced straight to Round 3 — but it wasn’t easy, as Miguel’s huge grab rail air reverse landed him a 9.33 and a True Innovation nomination. Head to for the official call at 7:30 AM tomorrow and possible completion of Round 2. – Hurley
