Five Idaho ski areas. A day in the pristine Idaho backcountry. 1,600+ miles on wheels. All in 10 days.

At the end of last month, I went from Salt Lake City, UT to Schweitzer to Silver Mountain, then from Lookout Pass to Lost Trail south to the Sawtooth Recreation Area before finally wrapping up the trip at lovely Sun Valley.

All I can say is that there is a reason Idaho is dubbed ‘The Gem State.’

A full powder-highway-Esque article will be released later this month describing the trip, logistics, ski areas, recommended runs, lodging, places to eat, and so forth.

But for now, here’s some footage from the trip, with clips from each stop.

Please enjoy!
