The 2019/20 Grand Pass at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, WY includes an Ikon Base Pass.

According to JH News & Guide, resort spokeswoman Anna Cole stated that the resort has received a lot of feedback and determined that an Ikon Base Pass would be fair compensation for the overcrowding that locals have experienced this season.

Considering the fact that an Ikon Base Pass costs $649 alone, it’s a solid deal.

Individuals that purchase the 2019/20 Grand Pass get access to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, plus unlimited access to 12 resorts and up to 5 days each at 25 other destinations with the Ikon Base Pass.

All this for $1,469, which sounds like a pretty good deal for all involved.

  1. Here, I’d have to pay what amounts to $649 for the IKON base pass plus another $847 to make it an actual Jackson Hole pass. At my local mountain, I pay $649 plus… err… nothing and have an IKON base pass plus season pass all rolled into one. Remind me again, which one’s “a steal”?

I mean, certainly this is an improvement, but let’s keep the hyperbole in check.
