Incline Village, NV Has Had More Coronavirus Cases Than Any Other Lake Tahoe Community

Interactive data from Washoe County shows that no community at Lake Tahoe has had more coronavirus cases than Incline Village, NV the Tahoe Daily Tribune reports.

A map produced by Washoe County officials shows that 17 Incline Village residents have contracted the virus. Washoe County has seen 710 cases with 21 deaths.

“Residents should keep in mind that the data does not represent where residents contracted COVID-19, but rather where they are self-isolating,” said a county press release. “COVID-19 is spreading throughout our community. Just because one zip code might have more cases, that doesn’t mean it is a ‘hot spot.’”

Washoe County has administered 7,835 tests. 195 people who tested positive have recovered.

California has had 35,396 confirmed coronavirus cases, with 1,354 deaths. Nevada has had 4,081 cases and 172 deaths.
