A luxury chalet perched above the ski town of Cervinia has hit the market for a staggering €24 million (roughly $26.16 million USD), becoming the most expensive private residence currently listed on the Italian side of the Alps.
Known as Chalet La Fenice, the 13,000-square-foot property offers panoramic views of the Matterhorn and seven opulent suites, along with a private cinema, gym, ski room, wellness area, and its own helipad. The home is positioned just above the village, offering both privacy and immediate access to one of Europe’s premier alpine destinations.
The chalet was completely rebuilt in 2021 and previously operated as a high-end rental, commanding up to €120,000 per week during peak season. Now, the estate is available for purchase, signaling a shift from luxury hospitality to ultra-exclusive alpine living.
