Which European Ski Resorts are Opening in October?

While the ski season kicks off in December for most people, some skiers and boarders can barely wait to get their first turns in.

If you count yourself in the latter group and are wondering where to head to for some October skiing and snowboarding, these resorts will be opening soon:

Beginning of October (depending on the snow conditions):
Sölden Glacier Skiing, Austria

*Diavolezza will be open to the public from October 18 to November 16 on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. All other days the slopes are reserved for registered teams only.
