Winter isn’t going away without a fight in the Jackson area. About 6-9″ fell the last day of April and another 4-6″ fell on the first of May. A couple of friends and I headed up to Togwotee Pass and this is what we found.

Lap after lap. 8″ of light, winter snow.

This could have been the last real powder day of the season and only one other person was out besides us. It seems as though people are ready for a change of seasons which is rightfully so. But today was well worth getting out there and leaving some trenches before the corn cycles begin.

The forecast is indicating that a warm cycle is about to come with possible rain showers starting another melting period. Winter might have come to an end but who knows, maybe another storm will sneak through again.
