Winter is upon us at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) who are ready to open for their longest season of skiing and riding yet! Thanksgiving Day, 2019 will kick off 137 days of skiing and riding in the Tetons up until the resort’s closing day on Easter Sunday, April 12 2020.

JHMR President Mary Kate Buckley warmly welcomes guests for Jackson Hole’s 54th season, saying: 

"It's been a busy summer and fall packed full of operational enhancement projects
 all over the mountain. We're ready for a great winter ahead and look forward to
 putting JHMR's new improvements to work!" Buckley announces.

JHMR will open the Teewinot chair and the Sweetwater Gondola to Solitude mid-station and Après Vous lifts at 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28 with additional lifts and terrain scheduled to open throughout the week as snow and weather conditions allow. According to the NOAA, a storm is rolling into JHMR for their opening weekend and is expected to bring up to a foot of fresh powder or more.

JHMR 2019-2020 Opening Day & Early Season Mountain Operations Information

Lift Operations & Hours:

  • Teewinot, Sweetwater Gondola to Solitude mid-station and Après Vous (AV) lifts will run daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., effective 11/28/2019. Lift status subject to change as conditions permit.

Open Terrain:

  • Moran to South Pass, Werner and Lower Werner, South Pass to Teewinot Gully down Teewinot to the base.
  • Runs From Solitude Station via Sweetwater Gondola Mid-Station.
  • Pooh Bear; also accessible via the Solitude Station Carpet.

2019-2020 Early Season Ticket Pricing (11/28/19 – 12/6/19):

  • Adult 1 Day (15-64)                                      $99
  • Seniors 1 Day (65+)                                      $79
  • Juniors (14 and under)                                $59
  • Kids (5 and under ski free)                          $0

2019-20 Opening Services and Amenities

FOOD:

  • 6311 is open from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. for grab and go items.
  • The General Store is open from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Retail and Rental Shops:

  • JH Sports and Teton Village Sports will be open from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Solitude Station rentals are available Thanksgiving Day (11/28/19) onward from 8 a.m. – 4:30pm.
  • Hoback Sports will be open 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • The newly remodeled JH Resort Store will open 11/29 with hours from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Guest Services and Ticketing:

  • The new ticket office is open daily from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. for guest services, information and season pass pick-up.

Mountain Sports School Sales:

  • Lessons can be booked from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. daily.

NEW FOR 2019: JHMR is launching an entirely new digital asset with a new JH Insider App allowing skiers and riders access to valuable resort information for planning and experience. The new JH Insider App is officially available for download from both Apple and Google or at jacksonhole.com/jh-insider-app. JHMR encourages all guests, particularly those skiing and riding in the early season, to stay up-to-date on mountain status, lift operations, weather reports, grooming conditions, traffic and parking updates and more with JH Insider.
