Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR), Wyoming, announced on October 15 that it will host the wildly popular Ski in Jeans Day for the third consecutive year. The event kickstarts  a long list of December events that also includes discounted tickets for the Resort’s 60th Anniversary, free lift tickets for kids during Kids on Snow, as well as Winterfest, a 13-day holiday celebration at the Resort.

All of Teton Village will celebrate Destination December this year, beginning with the third Annual Ski in Jeans Day on Friday, December 5. Guests are encouraged to don their favorite denim to hit the slopes on National Blue Jeans Day, and they’ll have the chance to enjoy discounted lift tickets, as well as special giveaways, drink deals and the chance to ride a mechanical bull during après-ski celebrations in Teton Village.

JHMR debuted Ski in Jeans Day in 2023 and promptly set a new world record for the most people skiing and riding in jeans, before breaking it again with 3,320 participants last year. Lift tickets will cost just $35 for the event this year, rental equipment will be available at 50% off the daily rate. A three-day lift ticket for the entire weekend will cost $199.

Guests can also enjoy great activities when they are done on the slopes, including mechanical bull riding and cattle roping stations in the Village Commons. Vendors will have a variety of pop-up displays in celebration of Ski in Jeans, and the Tram Dock restaurant will welcome guests to an après party and music with Montucky Cold Snacks at the base of the Aerial Tram.

JHMR will also host the Kids on Snow event from December 12-14, during which all children 12 and under will ski for free the entire weekend, regardless of skill level. Kids on Snow will also offer $100 group ski lessons on December 12 as well as the chance to experience dog sledding, ice skating and shopping at the Holiday Bazaar. Snow Cats and Avy Dogs on December 12 and 13 gives families a chance to meet the avalanche dogs and hop in the driver’s seat of a snow cat. JHMR will also celebrate its 60th Anniversary all winter long with a variety of special activities and events honoring this historic moment, including the official 60th Anniversary Celebration presented by Smartwool on December 19. On that date, single-day lift tickets for all guests will cost just $60 while supplies last, and the Resort will host a series of special activities to celebrate, including a retro ski costume contest at Tram Dock.

JHMR will close out 2025 with its 13-day Winterfest celebration from December 19-31, during which guests will be treated to all the best free family activities the Resort has to offer during the holidays. Events include ornament making, cookie decorating, a family scavenger hunt, sledding, and the opportunity to ski with Santa Claus on Christmas Day, as well as a parade and fireworks display on New Year’s Eve.

“Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is excited to kick off our 60th season with our Destination December events, including the third annual Ski in Jeans. Destination December is packed with unbeatable deals, including free lift tickets for kids 12 and under, great lodging rates, and holiday shopping. Don’t miss out on the fun.
