Summer Activities Begin at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, WY THIS Weekend

Some areas may still be skiing, but at Jackson Hole, WY they’re getting excited about the start of summer. On Saturday, June 8, all base-area activities in the Grand Adventure Park will open for the summer season at the resort. The Grand Adventure Park offers a variety of exciting family-friendly activities including the Aerial Tram, Bridger Gondola, Teewinot Chairlift, Ropes Course, Climbing Wall, and Bungee Trampoline. The Jackson Hole Bike Park will also open with limited terrain.

The Aerial Tram (9 am to 5 pm) provides rides to the top of the Tetons until Oct. 6. The Teewinot Chairlift (10 am to 6 pm) will operate daily until Sept. 2 and then weekends until Sept. 15. The Bridger Gondola (9 am to 5 pm) will run daily up to Sept. 29. This unprecedented lift service is complemented by great dining options at the Teton Village base and at the top of the lifts. The Tin Can Cantina will be serving refreshments and tacos daily all summer long (11 am to 5 pm); Off-Piste Market will be open daily (9 am to 4:30 pm) and the newest base-area restaurant RPK 3, located at the base of the tram, will continue to be open daily for lunch (11 am to 5 pm).

From June 23 to Sept. 15, the Bridger Gondola will continue operation Tuesday to Sunday into the evenings for sightseeing at the top, hiking with sunset views and dining options at Piste Mountain Bistro and The Deck. Evening gondola and restaurant service will be available Tuesday through Sunday until Sept. 15. Before 5 pm, gondola access will require a sightseeing ticket or Grand Adventure Pass, but rides will be free to the public from 5 pm to 9 pm. The newest high-alpine adventure at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, the Via Ferrata, is scheduled to open June 15, conditions permitting.
