Report from December 18, 2020

I drove up from Utah to Jackson Hole, WY early yesterday morning (check out our Instagram story for a fun video of Bighorn Sheep in the road).

Jackson Hole reported 4″ of new snow yesterday morning.

Jackson Hole has seen 34″ of new snow in the past week.

Groomers were great, off-piste was fun.

I met up with Owen Leeper and we took a journey into the Jackson Hole backcountry.

The snow out there was deep, dense, and fresh – but there are still plenty of rocks and stumps to cause havoc so we trod lightly.

After 2 laps in the backcountry and over 10 inbounds, we called it a day.

This morning, we woke up to 6 more inches of new snow and the forecast looks good.

Let it snow!
