Jackson, WY, Nearly Surpasses its 1967 Snowfall Record in the 2024 Calendar Year

Jackson, Wyoming, is known for its high snowfallย and exceptional skiing. The 2024 calendar year was no exception, with a snowfall total nearly surpassing the 1967 record. Jackson is a great destination for skiers looking for excellent snow quality in the 2024-25 season. While Jackson typically receives an average of 77 inches of annual snowfall, in 2024, it reached an abnormal total snowfall of 141.7 inches, the second-highest recorded total.

The previous record was achieved in 1967 with a total snowfall of 154.9 inches. This year’s total was only 13.2 inches short of their average, contributing to their excellent conditions and allowing them to keep up with resorts known for high snow totals like Alta Ski Area.
