Jay Peak, Vermont Conditions Report: 72 Hours of Snow = Big Powder Today

SnowBrains | | Post Tag for Conditions ReportConditions Report

Jay Peak ski resort in Vermont is in the middle of a 72 hour snowstorm that has left the place looking mid-winter.  It looks like it’s starting to pile up and these boys weren’t about to let it go to waste.  It was clearly a great day at Jay Peak today and hopefully the snow machine just keep chuggin’ along back east.

Jay Peak opens on November 29th, 2013.

“WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 13TH, 2013 | Updated 10:04 am:

Conditions Update: 3” of new fluff has fallen at the base and 4-6” at mid-mountain up to the summit since yesterday. Snow accumulation like this is rare this time of year, but we’ll take it. Check out our photo of the day in case you need some proof. Opening Day is still set for Friday, November 29th and we’ll be coming hot out of the gate with three trails open for skiing/riding and the Jet Triple spinning.” – Jay Peak

“Three straight days of continuous snowfall. What did you expect?
