Jeremy Jones is raffling off a one of a kind snowboard to raise money for Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria victims. Jeremy is an influential big mountain and backcountry freerider who has committed himself to an environmentally sustainable way of life. Not only is he a pioneer in the industry, he is also a front-runner in the fight against climate change. Jones founded the non-profit organisation Protect Our Winters in 2007 and in 2009 he founded Jones Snowboards. Jones Snowboards is also an active member of the global organisation 1% For The Planet

Squaw Valley local Jeremy Jones is known for being a conscientious person not only with his snowboarding but also for the environment. So it should come as no surprise that Jones wants to help the hurricane victims who were recently devastated in the Caribbean. In an effort to raise money for the people in the Caribbean he is raffling off an original Mind Expander snowboard. This board is designed by Jones Snowboards and Chris Christenson with custom artwork done by Jeremy’s neighbor and friend, Chris Crossen Artist.  100% of the proceeds raised by this raffle will be donated to the non-profit Waves for Water Relief Initiative which is helping to bring clean water to all of those who are in need.

This original snowboard has undergone years of testing and tweaking before being released.  To create the ultimate all mountain shredder this board has been created to blend together freestyle, freeride and surf styles. The opportunity to be the owner of this one of a kind board really is unique and there is no guarantee it will ever happen again. You can enter the raffle for only $10 a ticket and know that 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Waves for Water. This non-profit organisation has one goal and that is to get clean water to every single person who needs it. The winner will be announced Monday, September 25th.
