June Mountain ski area in the Eastern Sierra of California will re-open tomorrow for the first time since 2012. June Mountain was closed for the season last year for the first and only time ever. June had been in operation for over 50 years since it’s inaugural season in 1962.
June Mountain offers access to some of the best backcountry skiing from a ski resort anywhere in the country.
JUNE MOUNTAIN OPENING DAY OPERATIONS:
- June Mountain reopens for the 2013-14 season, following it’s closure in 2012-13 for financial reasons
- Lift tickets for opening day will be available for $10
- June will be FREE for kids 12 and under, every day, all season long
- Mammoth Mountain pass holders will also ski June for free
- New family experience includes themed programming on weekends and a new parent’s lounge
- June season passes available starting at $399
