“I would call this an epic storm.  In just under 24hrs we have received 56cm of snow.  For multiple hours it was snowing 2cm/hr, there were two hours when we got 5cm/hr, one hour that we got 8cm and one hour that we received 10.6cm!” – Mike Rubenstein, Director of Operations at Kicking Horse, B.C.

Wow. 

Kicking Horse ski resort in B.C. just got 22″ (56cms) in 24 hours.  They got 4″ (10.6cms) in one hour last night.

They’ve gotten 105″ (262cms) this season with 63″ (161cms) coming in just the past 7 days.

Kicking Horse will be opening two weeks early with 4,100-vertical-feet of top-to-bottom skiing this month!
