I got out late yesterday at around noon at Kicking Horse, BC.
I skied a run off the north of CPR Ridge and it was steep and intimidating with a bit of new snow.
I skied a run off the north of Redemption Ridge and it was was also steep and exciting.
This place is for reals…
I then cruised into the backcountry and skied one of the coolest runs.
Felt like skiing “Four Pine” at Jackson Hole, WY.
The snow was ridiculously perfect.
Small crystals, super cold, endlessly smokey.
Last night, Golden BC held their Snow King festival. It was the coolest English speaking festival I’ve been too. Very cute. Check out our Instagram Story for more:
I’m heading up to kicking horse this coming weekend. Did you guys have an article earlier this year that was “How to ski Kickinghorse like a local” or something on those lines? Thanks for the great video and articles.
Hey Erik, thanks for the kind words. Yes, we did publish an article about Kicking Horse like that. Have a blast.
