KILLINGTON, Vt. (March 25, 2022) Vermont’s Killington Resort, the largest ski and snowboard resort in Eastern North America and part of POWDR, announced today that it will donate $20,000 to the Red Cross’s Ukraine relief efforts.

As part of Killington Resort’s Play Forever corporate responsibility commitment, proceeds from the virtual silent auction for vintage memorabilia housed in the old K-1 Base Lodge and Mahogany Ridge entirely benefitted the Red Cross’s Ukraine relief efforts. The silent auction raised $9,480 for the efforts and Killington Resort matched it through the Play Forever Fund, bringing the donation up to an even $20,000.

“We’re proud to be in a position to give so generously in support of the efforts the Red Cross is making for Ukraine efforts,” says Mike Solimano, president and general manager of Killington Resort and Pico Mountain. “We will continue to support this cause through the ongoing Spring Pass sale, where $5 of every pass sold will continue to benefit this cause.”
