Employees at Killington Resort were treated to a unique appreciation event earlier this month where all workers were invited to a free gas giveaway, where they could fill up their gas tanks at the vehicle maintenance building. But that’s not all; members of the Resort Leadership Team were the ones pumping the gas, as well as washing all the car windows.

Over 3,000 gallons of gas were given away during the event. With an average price of around $4 a gallon in Vermont, that is a total value to the employees of over $12,000.

In addition to the gas giveaway, all employees were given bags of food that contained everything needed to kick off the warmer season with a barbeque. The bags contained hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, veggies, dessert, and all the fixings for a backyard cookout. The estimated value of each food bag was over $70.

Other benefits that Killington employees enjoyed this season were a free season pass for themselves and their dependents, transportation to the mountain, discounts on lift tickets, lodging, childcare, food, retail products, spa services, tunings services, and other resort activities. The vibe and culture at Killington seem pretty sweet, and they are hiring!

Killington will remain open on weekends (Fri, Sat, and Sun) until the snow is gone.
