Killington ski resort in Vermont will open up at 10am tomorrow with the K-1 Express Gondola providing access to skiing and riding via the North Ridge Triple chair. Rime & Reason will be the only two trails open.
A bit of walking will be required to make it all work, but it’ll be worth the walk.
Killington will be open 10am-3:45pm and they plan to be open daily from here on out, if Mother Nature will cooperate a bit.
KILLINGTON OPENING DAY REPEAT:
3:32 pm 11/14/15–Pack up your gear, skiers and riders, because we are reopening for skiing and riding at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 15.
Mother Nature chipped in overnight with 2 inches of natural and our ambitious snowmakers are finally back in the game, blanketing North Ridge in wholesome white goodness. Their aggressive plan calls for full-tilt snowmaking to continue as long as favorable weather lasts. We hope to be able to offer skiing and riding daily from here on out but, of course, that is ultimately up to Mother Nature.
On Sunday morning we plan to have two open trails, Rime and Reason, served by the North Ridge Triple. The K-1 Express Gondola will provide uploading and downloading and you will need to use the Peak Walkway to and from the open North Ridge Area. Hopefully you’ve been hitting the Stairmaster.
The K-1 Express Gondola will upload from 10:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. and downloading will be available until 4:00 p.m. The North Ridge Triple will allow uploading until 3:45 p.m.
Skiing and snowboarding will be on advanced terrain only and no easier terrain will be available at this time. Early season conditions, including ongoing snowmaking, will exist; please ski and ride with care.
Welcome back to the longest season in the East, have fun and don’t forget to #beast365.
