King Pine Ski Area Announces Capital Improvements for 2025–26 Winter Season

New Hampshire’s King Pine Ski Area is proud to announce major capital improvements for the 2025–26 winter season that enhance guest comfort, accessibility, and year-round amenities. With a focus on both family recreation and innovation, these projects reflect King Pine’s enduring commitment to its core values while investing over $400,000 into the future of the resort.

King Pine Ski Area is an independently owned ski area committed to offering affordable family pricing. It has 17 trails which offer alpine, Nordic, and uphill skiing. It also has an outdoor ice skating rink and slope-side lodging

Snowmaking Updates

King Pine continues to invest in improving their snowmaking efforts. This year, they initiated an extensive snowmaking pipe project. New piping was installed for both the tubing park and on the backside of the mountain.

Tubing Hill Upgrade: Conveyor Lift Enhances Guest Experience

This winter, King Pine’s popular tubing hill will feature a new conveyor belt lift, replacing the existing handle tow system. The modern, user-friendly lift allows guests of all ages to ride to the top with comfort and efficiency, increasing capacity during peak times and ensuring a smoother operation. This project makes a favorite winter tradition even more accessible for families and groups.

Evergreen Room Renovation Elevates Events and Après-Ski

The Evergreen Room in the King Pine base lodge has undergone a full transformation to become a versatile, year-round venue for community and private events.

Renovation highlights include:

• A custom bar with live-edge countertops
• A refurbished dance floor, ideal for weddings, après-ski gatherings, and celebrations
• A beautifully crafted post-and-beam ceiling
• Upgraded audio/visual systems

This update is a continuation of base lodge improvements that started two years ago with the addition of the rooftop deck outside the Evergreen Room which provided expanded base lodge outdoor seating. 

New Online Ticketing & Reservation System

King Pine has also invested in a new online ticketing and reservation point-of-sale system. This upgrade will streamline the guest journey, improving both the online purchasing process and the in-person experience upon arrival at the resort. The new system will make it easier for families to plan their visits and enjoy more time together on the slopes.
