It’s that electrifying time of year when a number of the world’s finest skiers and snowboarders face off in an aerial battle taking place at the world-renowned ski resort, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, in the infamous ‘Corbet’s Couloir’ for the annual Kings and Queens of Corbet’s Competition. The world-class display of aerial talent and big trick stomping wizardry begins today, February 18th, 2021, conditions permitting.
The Kings & Queens invitational event pits 27 of the world’s top skiers, riders and select local rippers against each other. As they compete for the title, “King or Queen of Corbet’s,” each competitor is granted two runs down Corbet’s with only the best run counting toward the grand prize.
The competition first premiered at Jackson Hole three seasons ago and has already grown to be one of the biggest, best, and most exciting ski and snowboard competitions the world has to offer. This year the event has been modified to limit the production and number of people involved, and viewing will be limited on-site in Tensleep Bowl for a more scaled, manageable, and intimate experience with adherence to strict policies and procedures aligned with COVID-19 protocols.
Everyone is encouraged to follow @jacksonhole on social media for event day coverage. Viewers worldwide can watch the competition for free and in its entirety on Red Bull TV beginning on Monday, Feb. 22, 2021, at 1:00 pm MST.
