Report from December 27th, 2019

Brought to you by Alpenglow Expeditions

After 2-days off for Christmas/Hannukah, we were back out on the mountain today.

We continued our hunt for spines.

We found some stellar spines today.

We skied 3 laps on these spines then headed home.

Winds

We boot-packed up once and saw some small, hard wind slabs.

We got one wind slab to fail.

The wind slab was 3-12″ deep and broke about 10′ x 15′ and slid about 5′ downhill.
