French Ski-Mecca, Les Sybelles Goes 100% Green Energy

Les Sybelles, in France’s Maurienne region, is going 100% certified renewable energy sources for 2019/20 Winter.

With more than 300km of slopes, nearly 150 runs and 70 ski lifts inter-connecting half-a-dozen resorts, Sybelles is the nation’s 4th largest ski area.

  • Snowmaking
  • Full daily operations

Renewable electricity will arrive at Les Sybelles from local hydro-electric centers, as well as solar and wind power sources, thanks to a partnership with world-leading French power company, EDF.

European label TÜV-SUD oversees green energy certifications, ensuring strict, up-to-date standards are followed regarding 100% renewable hydroelectricity, wind, and solar power.
