If you want to ride on as many skis and snowboards as possible, then you should consider the Quiver Pass from Crystal Mountain, WA.

The Quiver Pass gets you unlimited anytime access to the full fleet of high-performance demos at Brand X Equipment, the mountain’s pro shop, for the entire season for one flat rate.

The cost for the Quiver Pass is $399. Every snowboard and pair of skis is professionally waxed and tuned, and bindings are included. If you want to include boots you will receive 40% off the daily boot rental fee. You do have to return the demo at the end of each day but can pick up a new one the next.

You can choose from 67 models of skis from 10 different brands including Nordica, Atomic, Volkl, K2, Salomon, Armada, Line, 4FRNT, Blizzard, and Rossignol. For snowboards, they have 65 models from four different brands including Jones, Lib Tech/GNU, Arbor, Capita, and Rossignol.

Is it a good deal?

The daily price of a demo at the mountain ranges from $57-$77 depending on the day and ability level of the rider. This means it could be ideal for the right person as the break-even point is somewhere between 5-7 demos. This doesn’t even consider the cost of maintenance. Waxing, edge sharpening, and base grinds are taken care of. You also won’t have to haul your gear from your home to your car, to the mountain, and back again. It saves storage space at home as well. How much is that worth to you?

Who is this for?

The types of people this can appeal to are numerous. If you just like to test and try the latest industry technology that’s available, then this is perfect. Maybe you are in the market for a new pair of skis and don’t know what to buy. Demoing multiple pairs of skis is the best way to find out what you like. The $399 is a manageable investment in finding your perfect long-term gear. Or maybe you just want to have the perfect ski given the day’s conditions and don’t want to build out your own quiver collection. You can get some aggressive carvers for a groomer day or get some floaty freeride sticks when the mountain gets dumped on.

The benefits of the pass are many. Each individual will have to decide if it makes sense for them, but it could be perfect for those who plan to ski Crystal all season. Please let us know in the comments if you are aware of any other resorts that offer a service like this.
