Loveland Ski Area in Colorado has switched up its season pass policy for the 2020-21 season to compensate for the 2019-20 season which was cut shore due to coronavirus concerns. Here’s what the ski area said in a press release today:

May 1, 2020

We miss you and hope you and yours are healthy and safe!  We thank you for all your support and patience as we work to ensure the health and safety of our employees and navigate these unusual times.

We understand that you are disappointed with how last season ended and perhaps also concerned about how the upcoming season might be affected. Here are our policies to address these concerns.

SEASON PASSES

Starting on Tuesday, May 5, we will offer 2020/21 season passes at last year’s rates and have increased the renewal discount for pass holders from last season. In addition, all season pass holders that purchased their 2019/20 season pass between February 15, 2020 and March 14, 2020 will have their season pass extended to the 2020/21 season. These season pass holders may pick-up their 2020/21 season passes on their first visit of the season.

Prices valid through 12/1/2020.

We expect that the 2020/21 season will be another great one here at Loveland, but understand that these uncertain times might make it difficult for our guests to commit to a season pass at this time.  We won’t rush you. We have extended the purchase window and current pricing is valid through December 1, 2020 so you have plenty of time to consider what is best for you and your family.

3-CLASS PASSES

Any unused lessons from last season will be honored during the 2020/21 season. These lessons will include rental equipment and a lift ticket for the student to use on the day of the lesson. You do not need to do anything aside from calling to schedule your unused lessons for the upcoming season. We will start accepting reservations in November. Lessons must be taken before March 31, 2021.

Season Passes included with 3-Class Passes that were purchased before February 15, 2020 will not be valid for the upcoming season, but all 2019/20 3-Class Pass holders are eligible to purchase a 2020/21 season pass at the discounted renewal rate. See above.

All 3-Class Passes that were purchased between February 15, 2020 and March 14, 2020 will have their season pass extended to the 2020/21 season. These season pass holders may pick-up their 2020/21 season passes on their first visit of the season.

LOVELAND PASS CARDS

2019/20 Loveland Pass Card holders that did not visit Loveland last season will have their Pass Card extended to the 2020/21 season. These Loveland Pass Card holders may pick-up their 2020/21 Loveland Pass Card on their first visit of the season.

2019/20 Loveland Pass Card holders that did visit Loveland at least once last season to redeem their first lift ticket will not have their Loveland Pass Card extended to the 2020/21 season.

All 2019/20 Loveland Pass Card holders are eligible to purchase a 2020/21 Loveland Season Pass at the discounted renewal rate. See above.

2020/21 Loveland Ski Area 4-Paks, 3-Class Passes, Loveland Pass Cards, Loveland Explorers & Winter Wigglers products will be available in the fall.

Stay healthy. Stay happy. See you soon.
