Midwest skiers rejoice! Lutsen Mountains in Minnesota announced yesterday that they will reopen this Saturday for one final weekend.

Watching the forecast, this Saturday looks to be a glorious day on the North Shore. Spring has sprung as we anticipate roaring rivers, blue skies, temps near 50 … and a base that is still 30+ inches.

We are extending our Extended Weekends and will be open Saturday, May 7 for one more day of skiing on Eagle Mountain with 10th Mtn chair, 10 – 12 runs.

This is our latest closing day on record – come join us for the celebration.

The resort joins Mt. Bohemia in Michigan as the last two standing in the midwest. The date will be the resort’s latest ever closing day.
