“This partnership took off immediately and absolutely blew us away with its success. Not only do we now have a stunning hand-painted trail map from the best in the business, but we’ve also raised a sizeable nest-egg we can use to help with all-new, on-mountain signage and other projects utilizing the artwork.”

– Ry Young, Marketing and Events Director for Mad River Glen

The purpose of their Kickstarter campaign was to raise funds to have well-known trail map artist James Niehues hand paint a signature trail map for Mad River Glen ski area. Along with the new trail map, additional on-mountain signage will be produced. All profits will be directed to the Stark Mountain Foundation, a charitable organization with a mission to preserve and protect the environment and ecosystem of General Stark Mountain.

If you missed out on the Kickstarter, don’t worry. James Niehues’s hand-painted trail map will be available online later in the year
