Crazy fun top to bottom 2,000-vertical-foot gondola runs on perfect groomers and soft corn.

Off the mountain, the fun continues:

The mountain biking is good, Mono Cone is open, Jolly Cone is open, Walker Burger is open, The Latin Market burritos are insane, the hot springs are excellent, the climbing is on, the backcountry skiing is out of control, Sonora Pass is open, Ebbetts pass is open, Tioga Pass is open to the pass from the east, and the camping is free and warm.

Nowhere beats Mammoth in May.  Nowhere

Mammoth will be open at least until Memorial Day (May 28th) – but there is talk of them staying open into June…  Fingers crossed.

The Mammoth bike park opens on Memorial Day Weekend (May 25th).
