Conditions Report
Today started out with ripping winds and lots of chairs on hold at Mammoth Mountain, CA.
We got out in the morning on Chair 17 and Rollercoaster and did 3 runs and the wind was brutal.
We went home, worked, napped then rolled back out at 2pm when we saw that Chair 23 was open.
We ran out and were completely stoked on conditions. I had way more fun that I had yesterday and I had a damn good time yesterday.
Chair 23 wind-buff was excellent.
We lapped 23 until 3:15 when we did a full gondola lap and the avalanche bed underneath the gondola was superb.
From there, we milked 2 runs of Chair 5 that were also wind-buffed fun.
Then it was 4:15 and we reluctantly went home.
Tomorrow should be fun.
