Sunday marks the end of this season at Mammoth Mountain, bringing the curtain down of one of the longest seasons in North America.

Thanks to everyone who joined us on the hill for 220 days of pure winter fun and wonderful white stuff. After another unforgettable season, we’ll be taking our last turns on Sunday, June 17. Hang out at the base of Facelift Express (Chair 3) and get in some final laps. We’ll be serving up coffee and pastries, there will be a final #MammothBeanie drop and a visit from our favorite pachyderm, Woolly.

After an almost record-breakingly poor snow start to the season in California, 2017/18 will be mostly remembered for #MiracleMarch and the insane amount of snow that fell in a relatively short period of time, at times forcing the resort to close due to the safety issues caused by having too much snow.

The last snowfall was a few weeks ago now, but that hasn’t meant the conditions haven’t been awesome, and fun has been had during this extended season. SnowBrains was there just last week, and we’ll be back with a vengeance this weekend to enjoy the festivities and say goodbye to the season.
