[PHOTOS] 5-Feet of Snow Forecast for Mammoth Mountain, CA, This Week

After a successful early opening day this past Saturday, the snow is continuing to fall at Mammoth Mountain, CA. The next round of storms is already hitting the Eastern Sierra and is forecast to drop five feet of snow at upper elevations in the coming days.

24” of fresh has fallen since the snow started yesterday morning. Currently, five trails and four lifts are open, although this storm will certainly help with getting more open by the weekend.

Mammoth Mountain already has a summit base of 30″.
