Ladies and gentleman, start your engines… That’s if you can dig your car out from under the 93” of snow Mammoth Mountain, CA has received this month.

Mammoth has been getting smacked with storm after storm recently. January is fast approaching last season’s monthly snowfall record of 142” in March.

This month alone has buried the summit under 138” of fresh pow. That is 11-feet in 21 days.

The season snowfall totals as of 1/26/19 are as follows:

  • 174” at Main Lodge
  • 259” at the Summit
  • Current Base Depth: 87–130”
  • Main Lodge: 87”
  • Mid-Mountain: 110”
  • Summit: 130”
