Last Saturday, January 30th, two men who had spent the day skiing at Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Pennsylvania got into an altercation about who was a better skier, causing a fight to break out. Paz Argueta, 28, has now been arrested for aggravated assault, simple assault, resisting arrest, and criminal mischief, as The Tribune-Democrat first reported.

A complaint said that the 911 caller had thought it sounded like someone was being murdered in the room in which Argueta and the other man were staying. Argueta looked to be severely intoxicated when police arrived, with the other man having a broken nose and bloody mouth. While the fight broke out, police reported around $400 worth of damage to the room, including a destroyed toilet, which caused water damage.

After being unable to post his $30,000 bond, Argueta is awaiting his court date in the Somerset County Jail.

Who would have thought that what may seem like a causal debate with a buddy of yours could turn into a full-blown fight that ends with one of you in jail?
