The 27-year-old man who died after he was buried in an avalanche while snowmobiling on Togwotee Pass has been named as Dale Walter Clyde Laedtke of New London, Wisconsin. A cause of death has not been released.

The man was snowmobiling with three friends on the north side of Togwotee Pass near Breccia Cliffs when the avalanche was triggered, Sheriff Matt Carr said.
