Last month, a monolith mysteriously appeared in the Utah desert. It soon disappeared, but not long after, an identical-looking structure appeared in Romania, which also quickly vanished. Now, a third monolith has been discovered, this time in California.

The Atascadero News reports that the monument appeared on the mountain on Wednesday morning. The ten-foot-tall shiny metallic structure was discovered at the top of the mountain on Wednesday morning, with locals saying it was not there the day before. Its construction is similar to the previous monoliths, a three-sided structure with a triangular footprint. There are no clues as to how and when it appeared there, and nobody has yet come clean and claimed responsibility for its mysterious appearance.

It’s still not known if there is any connection between the three seemingly random structures. Is it some genius marketing stunt? Aliens messing with us?

What is your best guess…?
