Mont-Tremblant Ski Resort, Quebec, has confirmed that the resort has passed the FIS snow control this week, confirming that course preparation meets international racing standards. This means that the women’s Giant Slalom on December 6 and 7 can go ahead and the Local Organization Committee continue preparations for the race weekend.
“ It’s official: the 2025 PwC Tremblant World Cup is happening! ️⛷️
Following yesterday’s snow control, the organizing committee and the FIS have given the green light: the AUDI FIS Women’s Giant Slalom World Cup races will take place in Tremblant on December 6 and 7.
The mountain is ready, the conditions are set, and we can’t wait to welcome you to cheer on the world’s best skiers and experience the World Cup with us.”

FIS officials gave the green light following an on-site review of snow depth, surface quality, safety installations, and the resort’s ability to maintain race-ready conditions through the event window. Despite a challenging early-season weather pattern across eastern North America, Tremblant’s snowmaking system and grooming teams delivered the required surface on schedule.
This year marks Tremblant’s second time hosting women’s technical races since rejoining the World Cup calendar. The event debuted two seasons ago but could not take place last year due to lack of snow. The 2023 race weekend saw strong athlete feedback and large crowds, helping re-establish the Laurentian resort as a premier North American venue for early-winter racing.

The upcoming Giant Slalom weekend is expected to feature many of the discipline’s top names, with two full giant slalom races on the Flying Mile piste. After the Copper Mountain World Cup wraps ups this weekend—a women’s Giant Slalom and Slalom are scheduled for today and tomorrow—teams will begin arriving in Quebec in the coming days to prepare for inspection and training. Tremblant’s LOC has already announced that grandstand seating, spectator zones, and village festivities will return, building on last year’s successful event atmosphere.
Tickets for the Tremblant World Cup can be purchased at the event website.
