NOAA: Montana Could See Upto 12″ Fresh Snow Above 6,500-Feet Wed-Sat

In two days it will officially be summer, Friday 21st June. The longest day of the year, and from then on it’s all downhill to snow and winter as the days shorten. But in some areas winter hasn’t even ended yet!

Powderchasers are calling for significant snow accumulation in the northern Rockies, Montana, and Alberta.

The National Weather Service is saying accumulations could begin as low as 6,500-feet.
