NOAA is forecasting snow to continue in Lake Tahoe and Mammoth today.  A Winter Storm Warning Remains in effect today in Lake Tahoe.  A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for Mammoth & Yosemite today.

Chains are currently required on all Sierra highways.

  • Kirkwood = 14-16″
  • Northstar = 16″
  • Sugarbowl = 9-15″
  • Mt. Rose = 10-13″
  • Mammoth = 5-12″
  • Squaw/Alpine = 10″

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until noon today for the west slope and Sierra crest of Lake Tahoe that calls for 3-6 more inches of snow today.  Sugar Bowl has already gotten 9-15″ of snow from this storm.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 4pm today for the Mammoth/Yosemite region that calls for 4-9 more inches of snow today.  Mammoth has already gotten 5-12″ of snow from this storm.
