Just a couple of days ago, Mount Rose Ski Tahoe, NV were still talking about their open day of Friday 26th October. But boosted by cold temperatures and their fantastic new snowmaking system, they’ve been able to bring that date forward a full week. Yesterday they announced they will open Friday 19th October.
Big news: Wizard lift will be spinning Friday + Saturday from 9am-3pm for pass holders only! We’re so excited to announce our earliest opening date ever!
Mount Rose Ski Tahoe always endeavors to be the first basin resort open, and for the previous three years, they have managed to open in October. Looks like they’ll be first again this year!
