Mountain Airport Offering Terminal-To-Piste Transfer By Dog Sled!?

Starting December 28, Sweden’s Scandinavian Mountains Airport offers a fresh take on terminal to piste transfers: dog sled.

Officials expect the new airport to open by this December and heavily promotes its convenient location. 

• 10 minutes from Sweden’s Salen ski area
• 40 minutes away from Trysil ski network in Norway.
  

Transfer by dog sled sounds chilly, but the service has got guests covered (literally). Provisions include:

• overalls
• safety clothing
• hat
• warm shoes

Estimated cost per-sled: 4995 Swedish Kronor (approx. £420 at time of writing) which is more than the flight far more memorable.
