Mt. Bachelor, OR Conditions Report: No One Out

Mt. Bachelor has now been open with full operation for five days. During midweek they are running the Pine Marten, Skyliner, and Sunshine Accelerator lifts. They certainly don’t need any more lifts open, as it feels like a ghost town up there. 

It snowed a skiff overnight, which actually helped the snow surface a lot! Places that have been completely blown off all season are now skiing like soft snow. It also helped the groomed runs a lot, especially on Pine Marten.

Thunderbird was in great shape today, as the grooming quality was excellent. Going on some of the un-groomed runs, Canyon and little Canyon are probably in the best shape as they were not affected by the wind last week.

Ski Season at Mt. Bachelor is going great so far. Hopefully the forecast holds true, and they will get more snow later this week.
