Yet another early season Colorado ski video. The snow is clearly in Colorado to stay this Fall.
So far, we’ve seen 6 ski reports from Colorado this year beginning on September 24th. They’ve been skiing out there for 3 weeks already. Amazing.
This video takes us to Mt. Baldy with Alex Reidman. Mt. Baldy is about 13 miles from Crested Butte, CO, as the car drives. It appears that they drove up the old 811 forest service road as far as the snow would let them then skinned up Baldy and got a big reward: re-crystalized pow. Well, we suppose we shouldn’t assume it’s re-crystalized, but it sure look like that classic Alaskan velvet type snow. Regardless, it was good, blower pow.
Colorado is doing well so far in 2013/14.
