Mt. Rose Ski Resort in Lake Tahoe, NV Began Making Snow Today & Plans To OPEN on October 27th

Mt. Rose ski resort in Lake Tahoe, NV just announced that they plan to open in only 15 days on October 27th, 2017.

“The team at Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe started snowmaking today, preparing for their anticipated October 27 season opener, weather and conditions permitting. Temperatures are forecast to be in the high 20s for the next few nights.” – Mt. Rose, today

Mt. Rose saw the 3rd most snowfall in North America last season at 768″ of snow.

If this all goes according to plan, Rose could be the first ski resort open on the West Coast this season.
