{It’s Monday, and that means it’s time for Music for your Monday’s, a new weekly feature here on Snowbrains where we bring you a band or artist that we think deserves a spot on your skiing, riding, biking, whatever playlist.}

For this weeks edition of Music Mondays we bring you indie artist The Submarines. While the song 1940 has been making its rounds on the bike edit scene, much of The Submarines work is for the most part overlooked. Mixing rock and pop with electronica beats and amazing female vocals, the duo creates music that is not only fun to ride to, but also make great options for your next edit.

Formed in the early 2000’s in Boston, the band consists of the main duo John Dragonetti and Blake Hazard, with touring members Jason Stare and Scott Barber. The bands music tends to lean more on the indie pop and rock side and includes many computer generated electronica beats. Blake Hazard has a very happy and upbeat voice adding to the bands unique style and fun sound. The Submarines music has often been subject to remixes that often add a whole new element to already amazing tracks. The Submarines are a fun happy upbeat Indie band that make skiing, biking, and even edits that much more fun, check em out!
